Science Swap Shop is a mini-lecture series to highlight the wide range of scientific research that goes into today's medical advances.
The first lecture, “Boom Bang-a-Bang: Highlighting new ways to keep your heart pumping”, will be held on Wednesday 5 March.
The lecture will be held in Appleton Tower, Lecture Theatre 4 at 5.30pm.
This is a free public event but please book your place by emailing Pathway Medicine.
Prof Margarete Heck will chair the lecture which has been organised by the Division of Pathway Medicine in the University's Medical School.
The event will also feature presentations by Professor Keith Fox, Professor David Newby and Professor Joyce Tait.
The event will end at approximately 6.30pm and will be followed by a reception.
