Postgraduate surveys 2011
Our annual surveys of postgraduate students help us improve postgraduate education at Edinburgh.
Students are asked about a range of key issues including facilities, staff support, skills and personal development.
The questionnaires identify areas where improvements could be made and help us target efforts to improve the student experience.
We run two postgraduate surveys:
- the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) for research students
- the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) for taught students
The surveys are run by the University together with the Higher Education Academy.
If you are a postgraduate student at Edinburgh you will have received an email inviting you to participate.
You will only be able to access the survey via the unique link emailed to you.
The questionnaire should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete.
If you haven't received your invitation and think you are eligible, please contact Susan Hunter.
Deadlines
The surveys are available for Edinburgh students until:
- 17 May, 2011 for the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey
- 27 May, 2011 for the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey
Security and privacy
All responses are anonymous and data will be held securely. Answers cannot be tracked back to individual respondents.
