Come and discover science for yourself with a series of fantastic hands-on science activities for the whole family.

‘Discover Science with the University of Edinburgh at the Museum’ runs from 26 March to 4 April at the National Museum of Scotland.

Part of the Edinburgh International Science Festival, our events include drop-in activities, workshops and shows covering a range of science subjects.

There's something for everyone, and much of it is free!

What's on?

Science Festival favourite, Dr Bunhead, will be back, creating chaos as usual with his Crash Test Jelly Babies show.

The museum will also play host to Show Science, a series of talks by Museum curators on everything from archaeology to zoology. All ages are welcome.

Drop-in activities are FREE and no tickets are required.

Tickets are available in advance from the Science Festival box office (Tel: 0131 524 9830) or online.

On the day you can obtain them (subject to availability) from the Discover Science ticket desk in the Main Hall of the National Museum of Scotland.
