Professor Akhlesh Lakhtakia

Professor Akhlesh Lakhtakia will give a public lecture entitled “From Maxwell to Nanotechnology” on Thursday 17 April.

Akhlesh Lakhtakia is Charles G. Binder (Endowed) Professor of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Pennyslvania State University.

The Lecture will be held in Lecture Theatre 102, Michael Swann Building, King's Buildings at 5.30pm. A reception will take place in the foyer at 5pm.

The lecture will be chaired by Sir Michael Atiyah.

This event is supported by the Maxwell Institute for Mathematical Sciences, the School of Mathematics and the Centre for Materials Science and Engineering (School of Engineering and Electronics).

This is a free public event and is not ticketed. Please just turn up at the door.
