Our popular film festival course includes premieres and exclusive live events.
The five-day course features daily Edinburgh International Film Festival screenings and events, with supporting lectures by University and Festival guest speakers.
Included in the £182 enrolment fee is a Festival Pass which gives access to the Delegate Centre and industry events.
Please note, booking has now closed for the 2008 Film Festival course.
Last year's screenings included Gus Van Sant's Paranoid Park and Anton Corbijn's Control.
Each screening and event is preceded by an introductory lecture and followed the next day by a tutor led discussion.
The lectures are redesigned every year according to the films chosen.
Classes take place at the Office of Lifelong Learning premises at the University.
Screenings and events are in nearby cinemas (within walking distance but public transport is easily accessible from the University).
Further information about the course including the screenings and events that have been chosen is available as a pdf download (requires a PDF viewer such as Adobe Reader).
No previous film knowledge is required.
Places are limited. The deadline for enrolment is Wednesday 4 June 4pm.
You can enrol by phone, in person or by post by contacting the Office of Lifelong Learning.
