On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 September you can explore some of the University’s most interesting buildings - for free.
The Anatomy Resource Centre in the Old Medical School.
We are again taking part in Edinburgh Doors Open Day, one of the capital's most popular free events.
The event allows vistors to venture behind the scenes of some of the city's most architecturally, culturally and socially significant buildings.
Our buildings range from historic Edinburgh landmarks to modern buildings which house some of the world’s most innovative research and teaching facilities.
Each Doors Open Day venue will host a range of free activities, designed to bring the history, design and the everyday use of the building to life.
Our Doors Open Day brochure has details of the buildings that are included, opening times and maps.
You can download a PDF version of the brochure (requires a PDF viewer such as Adobe Reader).
As well as the buildings listed in the University brochure, the International Centre for Mathematical Sciences, the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation, and the Royal Observatory of Edinburgh, which houses the University’s Institute of Astronomy, will also be open. Full details for these properties are in the main Edinburgh Doors Open Day brochure.
Saturday 22 September is also the University's Undergraduate Open Day.
