Nominations are invited for our prestigious awards: Chancellor’s Awards, Principal’s Medal and the Tam Dalyell Prize.
These University awards recognise significant achievements by staff and students in a variety of areas.
HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, presents Dr Polly Arnold with her Chancellor’s Award in 2009.
The Chancellor’s Awards, now in their fifth year, reward outstanding teaching and research.
They are awarded in recognition of innovation, relevance, creativity and personal dedication.
Nominations must be received by Friday 3 April, 2009.
The Principal’s Medal recognises an individual or group for significant contribution to support or benefit the wider community.
Nominations must be received by Friday 4 September 2009.
The Tam Dalyell Prize is awarded for excellence in engaging the public with science.
The prize recognises an individual or group for work such as hosting school visits, talks and other public events or through publishing and broadcasting.
Nominations must be received by Friday 4 September 2009.
