Mathematics MSc Programmes

Operational Research MSc Programmes

The School of Mathematics offers a number of MSc Programmes in Operational Research.

Brexit implications: The University has stated that the fee status of EU nationals entering programmes in September 2017 will be unaffected by the outcome of the UK referendum decision to leave the EU. Indeed, EU nationals are more than welcome in Scotland since it voted very strongly to remain in the EU. On 24 March, Scotland's Deputy First Minister announced that EU nationals choosing to study in Scotland and enrolling in 2018-19 have been guaranteed free tuition for the duration of their entire programme.

Operational Research (OR) uses mathematical techniques to tackle real-life decision problems. Management Science, Decision Sciences, and Operations Management are all part of Operational Research, which is also known as Operations Research.
