Centre for the Study of Islam in the Contemporary World

Resources for the public

The Alwaleed centre offers a number of possibilities for members of the public interested in our activities.

Public

Islam is frequently in the news, locally, nationally and internationally, with reference to a whole range of issues, religious, cultural, social, political and economic, but many people feel that they do not have a real understanding of what is happening, and why.

As well as the material which is available on this website, the Alwaleed Centre arranges seminars, usually once a month, on different aspects of Islam and current issues, and all of these events are open to the public.

We may also be able to offer speakers for groups who are interested in learning more about Islam, or discussing particular aspects of either its teachings or its practice, and are happy to address church or inter-faith groups, professional associations, or other groups who would like to gain a better understanding of different aspects of Islam.

For further information, please contact us via the details at the foot of the page.
