One-to-one appointments

One-to-one appointments with a Study Development Advisor are available to discuss general issues relating to study and academic work. The appointment will be for 30 minutes; the advisor will work with the student to develop strategies which will enable them to learn and study more effectively.

Students should be made aware that Study Development Advisors cannot check or proof read students' work and will not provide subject specific guidance. We do however encourage students to review and reflect on their work before there appointment.

Students must request the appointments themselves (Personal Tutors cannot book them on behalf of students) and are generally booked online via the IAD website.
