Useful info for new students

Information Services (IS) provide most of the computing, library and e-learning resources you will use during your time at the University. Please watch the welcome videos below and then follow your journey step-by-step through setting up each of the basic University services.

1. EASE

Your EASE password enables you to gain access to a wide variety of University services and is set up when you apply for your course.

2. Your Office 365 account

Office 365 allows access your University emails and also your 1TB of storage space amongst other services.

MyEd is the University's web-based portal to a wide range of student systems (including Learn and Event Booking) and further useful information.

6. Your University card

Your card is for identification, access to buildings, Cloud printing and student discounts. Info on adding your photo and collecting your card:

8. Download Microsoft Office for Free

As part of the University's Office 365 subscription, all active staff and students are entitled to install and activate up to 5 copies of Microsoft Office software on personal computers or mobile devices.
