DiscoverEd searches most of the Library’s subscription content, but not all of it. Notable exceptions include law resources: HeinOnline, LexisLibrary and Westlaw and some EBSCO content.

Expand results beyond Library Collections

DiscoverEd gives you the option to search beyond the Library Collections by checking the box, 'Expand results beyond Library Collections'. Bear in mind that the Library may not provide immediate access to resources outwith the Library's Collections.

If you find a resource to which we don't provide immediate access, you can use Library Resources Plus - InterLibrary Loans, RAB (Request a Book) or, academic staff use book recommendations- to obtain resources.
