Tender for new search engine issued

The project to procure and implement a new search engine for the University website reached an important landmark.

The project to procure a new University-wide search engine has reached an important milestone - the invitation to tender (ITT) was issued to potential suppliers this month.  It is expected that evaluation of bids will take place in April.   This important project will address issues with the current interim search engine - including ensuring full compliance with the latest EU regulations.
