Classroom-based courses for Semester 1 are now available for booking, run by our Digital Skills and Training team.
As well as our usual range of popular courses, which includes courses in Word, Excel, Photoshop and EndNote, we are also running sessions on Office 365 (find out about OneDrive, Clutter, Delve and OneNote), Collaborate Ultra (the new version of the virtual meeting/classroom software), and Media Hopper (the University's new media asset management system).
In addition to our classroom-based courses, we are pleased to also be able to offer staff and students access to Lynda.com online courses: www.ed.ac.uk/is/lynda
The Lynda.com courses can complement our face to face courses (for example by providing further learning opportunities after a course) or be used by people who are unable to attend the in-person courses, as well as covering many topics that we do not run classroom-based courses on.
To book onto a course or set up your Lynda.com account, visit our web pages at www.ed.ac.uk/is/skills
