Congratulations to our MOOCs team who have been awarded the Principal's Medal for Exceptional Service.
The Principal's Medals celebrate the achievements and dedication of the University's community members. Recipients are nominated by colleagues or fellow students. The Exceptional Service award recognises a staff member, or team, who makes a contribution to the University that far exceeds what is expected of their role.
Amy Woodgate (Project Manager - Distance Education Initiative & MOOCs) and the MOOCs team receive the award in recognition of their major contribution in establishing the University’s internationally leading reputation for delivering MOOCs, doing this with great agility in building excellent relationships internally with the academics delivering MOOC content, and externally with MOOC providers and the professional digital education community.
Congratulations also to Dr Colin Adams, Director of Commercialisation, in the School of Informatics who has been awarded the Principal's Medal for Service to the Community - find out more here.
The winners will be presented with their medals during the November graduation ceremonies.
