A space providing students and staff with resources to work on innovative ideas and projects related to making is now open in the Main Library.
The new University maker space, in Room 1.12 in the Main Library, aims to provide students and staff with the resources to work on innovative ideas and projects related to making, whilst supporting personal development and improving creative and technical skills.
At uCreate Studio you can find a variety of tools such as Arduinos and Raspberry Pis, as well as 3D printers and scanners. Workshops are available and open to students and staff interested in making. These workshops are informal and focus on collaborative multidisciplinary work.
