Information Services Group is relocating to newly refurbished office spaces across five floors of Argyle House.
By mid-December around 500 ISG staff (70%) will have relocated to Argyle House at the west end of the Grassmarket, whilst approximately 200 ISG staff will remain at existing locations across the five campuses. Even though many of us have moved physically, everyone remains contactable at their usual email address and phone number.
Information Services Group have for years been operating from a number of different offices, in different buildings, across several campuses. Argyle House provides an opportunity for us to bring together many of our staff in one location, enabling a collaborative, innovative and shared working environment. We've created a highly flexible space that enables us to move around within the building, allowing us room to grow and change over time. The refurbished space provides attractive spaces where we can engage and collaborate with the University community and the central location offers strong links to all areas of the University.
The relocation has also brought benefits in other areas, for example the staff who moved from the Lower Ground Floor of the Main Library enabled the re-purposing of that space providing 180 additional study spaces - a facility proving to be hugely popular with students.
Argyle House is located at 3 Lady Lawson Street, Edinburgh EH3 9DR (directly opposite Edinburgh College of Art 's Evolution House) - you can find us on the campus map.
When visiting Argyle House, visitors should report to the ISG Reception. The ISG Reception is located on Floor E (entrance level floor) through the two sets of doors in front of you as you enter the building. You can contact the ISG Reception at: email@example.com or 0131 650 4141.
A newly refurbished suite of meeting and training rooms are located in Argyle House. The rooms are open from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. There are 11 meeting rooms, equipt with AV kit, with seating capacities ranging from 6 - 20 people (two rooms can join together to extend capacity up to 50 people). Meeting rooms are bookable using the Office 365 calendar (search for 'Argyle House'). There are also 3 training rooms, from which our classroom-based courses now operate.
