Sharing heritage, sharing experience workshop

This workshop is primarily intended as an opportunity to bring together people working on heritage and community projects on Scottish, UK-wide, and global scales, to share experiences for mutual benefit. One of the key areas under discussion will be community engagement and outreach projects, and how these communicate heritage and conservation aspects, especially regarding the fragility - and irreplaceability - of the surviving remains. How can we weave this more strongly into cultural heritage management? What are the challenges where different stakeholders have different relations to different heritages at different associative levels: international, colonial, political, social, but also within small communities between 'incomers' and those with longer roots in the community?
