The Migration, Slavery & Diaspora Studies hub provides a supportive environment for research and teaching about issues surrounding slavery, migration and diasporas, subjects of great current political, economic, social, and cultural interest both within and beyond the academy.

Reading Group
The Hub hosts a monthly informal group for members to read and discuss new work in the History of Slavery. It usually meets on the last Thursday of each month. To receive updates please contact co-conveners of the reading group Emma Pearce and Siân Davies.

Slavery Lecture
A lecture series on 'World Slavery from Antiquity to the Present' was established in the Scottish Centre for Diaspora Studies in 2012.
