Opportunity to meet with staff and students from our programmes and courses
Once you have applied and received an offer to study in GeoSciences, we will invite you to attend out post applicant visit day on Wednesday 12th April 2017.
The programme for our visit day includes presentations about studying our programmes, accommodation services and student life at Edinburgh. You will have the opportunity to informally meet with staff from your chosen degree programme, talk with current students about their experiences. A tour of the Kings Buildings campus will be given and an optional tour of Pollock Hall (University catered accommodation). Lunch will be provided, please note any dietary requirements when registering.

Our Ecological & Environmental Science programmes are based in The Crew Building at the Kings Building Campus. The Kings Building Campus is around 2 miles south from city centre. There are a several transport options available.
There is limited free on-street parking on the outskirts of the Kings Building campus. Please note that time restrictions may apply in some areas.
Parking on campus is restricted to permit holders only. Visitors may request a daily scratchcard parking permit on arrival, please note that there will be £5 charge for this. Parking without displaying a permit will result in an expensive fine.
If overnight accommodation is required please make own arrangements.
Not able to attend one of our PAVDs in person? No worries! We are also hosting some virtual sessions where you will have the opportunity to speak with our admissions advisors with any questions or queries you may have about the programmes, as well as the opportunity to speak with some of our current students about settling in to Edinburgh and university life in general.
