Film in the Old College Quad

The University of Edinburgh’s Old College quadrangle transformed into an open air cinema in August for a week-long series of film screenings.

Film in the Old College Quad

As well as enjoying the atmospheric surrounding of the Old College, festival-goers had the opportunity to bring a picnic and watch classic films under the stars on the quad lawn.

Location map

All screenings were preceded by short films made by students from the Edinburgh College of Art.

Film in the Old College Quad was presented by the University in association with the Edinburgh International Film Festival and produced by Unique Events.

The screenings took place Sunday 17 August - Saturday 23 August.
