First ever Festival Fringe Service
The Sunday service at Greyfriars Kirk was an initiative of the University of Edinburgh.
South African choir Soweto Melodic Voices performed at the service, singing in English and six other South African languages. The University Chaplaincy worked to bring Soweto Melodic Voices back to Edinburgh following a successful run at the 2013 just Festival.

The Festival Fringe Service took place 17 August at 11am at Greyfriars Kirk.
just Festival
Soweto Melodic Voices also returned to this year's just Festival for 11 performances, every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4-22 August at The Church at St John's.
