From art and music to technology and science, the city's many festivals allow us to showcase the superb talent, fascinating research and numerous achievements of our students, academics and alumni.

Festival highlights
As the official University partner of the Edinburgh International Festival, we proudly support many events that take place throughout the month of August.
As well as hosting exhibitions as part of the Edinburgh Art Festival, the University also sponsors events at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, where the prestigious James Tait Black literary awards are presented annually.
