General English for Academic Purposes

We offer two summer General English for Academic Purposes courses to help students develop the required English language skills. Students are grouped by language level.

Specialist English for Academic Purposes

From mid-August, after the second General EAP course, students move to one of our 4-week Specialist EAP courses. Each of these can also be taken as a stand-alone course.

For students beginning a Distance Learning Masters programme

If you have an unconditional place on one of the University's Distant Learning Masters programmes, you may be eligible for a new Online Pre-Sessional Academic Language course (OPAL).
