Biography

Dr Raymont is currently a Senior Clinical Research Fellow in the Centre of Dementia Prevention, as well as an honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London. She completed specialist training in both adult and old age psychiatry at the Maudsley Hospital and Institute of Psychiatry, London, and has a masters degree in Cognitive Neuropsychology from University College London. She previously worked at the National Institutes of Health and Johns Hopkins University, USA.

Research Aims & Areas of Interest

Dr Raymont’s particular clinical and research interests are in brain injury and memory disorders/dementia, as well as clinical trials in cognitive impairment. She has published extensively on traumatic brain Injury. She is currently working on the EPAD (European Prevention of Alzheimer’s Dementia) Consortium which is an IMI-funded, 5-year programme to establish a Pan-European network of Trial Delivery Centres to undertake Proof of Concept secondary trials for secondary prevention of Alzheimer’s dementia.
