Fr Dermot Morrin OP studied engineering in Dublin and then theology and philosophy in Rome and Oxford. Before coming to Edinburgh in 2009, he was a parish priest in London. He has a keen interest in the history of art and enjoys cooking, hiking and gardening.

Father Matthew Jarvis 

Professed as a Dominican friar in 2011 and ordained priest in 2016, Fr Matthew served as a Catholic chaplain to the University of Leicester and De Montfort University from 2017 to 2020. He has studied history at Cambridge, philosophy and theology in the Blackfriars Studium in Oxford, and patristic theology at the Catholic University of Lyon. His academic interests also include liturgical music, especially Dominican Chant. He enjoys singing, playing the flute and ‘cello, and playing table tennis at a local club in Edinburgh.
