This section has information on careers within the charity and development work sector. It is a popular sector, and it offers a diverse range of opportunities within a not-for-profit environment.

Roles within the sector include fundraising, volunteer management, charity management, emergency planning and international aid/development work.

It is a large and diverse sector, and includes small community groups and organisations, as well as large national and international organisations. Entry into this popular sector is competitive, and related work experience is important, either paid or unpaid.
