Edinburgh Friends
Edinburgh Friends is the publication for the University's supporters.
It provides news and features about the major developments that have been funded through generous donations.
A list of all donors and legacy pledgers in the previous academic year is also included.
Edinburgh Friends - 2012 edition
This edition celebrates the continued support of the University’s friends with particular focus on scholarships and bursaries, the Patrick Wild Centre and an initiative to conserve David Laing’s remarkable collection of books in the library.
We also speak to Dame Stephanie Shirley, who donated £1 million to the University, while alumna Jessica Higgs interviews renowned physicist Peter Higgs.
