The annual SRS staff and student workshop took place on Wednesday 8th March and saw over 60 staff and students from across the University share their thoughts for what the institution should look like by 2040.
The University of Edinburgh has highlighted its commitment to protecting and respecting human rights through its new Modern Slavery Statement. A zero tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking in all its forms has been established, in the goods we purchase and the companies we work with.
Eight projects have been approved for funding on the first Utilities Working Group meeting and following sign-off by Directors of Social Responsibility & Sustainability and Estates. They are expected to deliver over £100,000 cash savings annually and prevent emissions of almost 600 tonnes of CO2e every year.
