University staff and students are invited to participate in the Edinburgh Sustainability Awards.

The awards offer an opportunity for staff and students to make a difference and contribute towards the University becoming more socially responsible and sustainable.
Over 20 teams from departments across the University took part last year, all raising awareness and embedding sustainable practices in their departments.
The awards are run by EUSA and the University of Edinburgh's Sustainability Office.
Participants are encouraged to look at different areas of their departments and see if sustainability can be embedded into everyday activities.
Teams of three or more members can record their achievements in a simple online workbook.
Participants can aim for bronze, silver and gold awards. Special awards will also be given for submitting innovative ideas in areas such as energy saving and cutting carbon footprints.
