University of Edinburgh staff and students have been recognised for their efforts in social responsibility and sustainability at the Scottish Green List Awards 2012.
Angela Lewthwaite from Estates and Buildings was one of the winners at the awards ceremony held at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh on Wednesday 13th March.
For over ten years Angela has been a champion for sustainability and fairtrade at the University. She has provided valuable support to a number of committees through her role as secretariat, and has been proactive in engaging with both staff and students.
Angela has worked hard to ensure colleagues continue to push the boundaries and deliver on promises for meeting global challenges such as poverty, environmental and climate risks.

Five students from the University of Edinburgh were recognised for their efforts in developing a fair, inclusive and sustainable Scotland.
Ruth Cape, Bella Crowe, Natascha Deininger, Mari Jones and Charlotte Snelling were among 18 young people in Scotland who were acknowledged at the awards ceremony for their efforts in social responsibility and sustainability.
