Staff are being encouraged to get more active this year by finding out how they can join Jogscotland groups at the University.
Those who want to get more active can become a member and participate in Jogscotland groups at the University. These groups offer a fun and supportive way of exercising and are suitable for all fitness levels.
Staff are invited to find out about how they can get involved by coming along to an open meeting between 12.30pm and 1.30pm on Monday 27 August at Appleton Tower Lecture Theatre Five.
The purpose is to let people know about Jogscotland, how to join, and why it's such a good idea! Eeveryone is welcome to come along and be inspired.
Sessions will get underway for beginners, so those that are keen can see the benefits for themselves. These are on Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes and run for 12 weeks at no cost. They build up activity gradually, starting from jogging one minute intervals in week one, and adding on a minute each week.
The first session will start on Tuesday 11 September 2012.
Experienced runners are also welcome to join us at any point in the year. We meet outside McEwan Hall every Tuesday and Thursday at 12.30pm.
If you have any questions before the open meeting for the central group please use the contact details below. Information concerning other area groups are available from the related links.
