Overview
The University of Edinburgh is the largest university in Scotland. We teach over 30,000 students. More than 11,000 of those students come from outside the United Kingdom.
Teaching quality and innovation
The quality of our teaching is consistently recognised, notably in the most recent review by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA).
The University also conducts regular internal reviews and constantly considers new approaches and techniques in teaching.
Recent innovative teaching methods for postgraduates have included:

Extensive range of programmes
The University offers around 500 undergraduate degree programmes and nearly 200 postgraduate programmes, more than any other Scottish university and most other UK universities
