In October 2007 the Research Councils UK (RCUK) opened their office in China.
Their mission is to develop relationships with Chinese research funding agencies and research communities to facilitate joint research activities. Through linking top researchers and providing information on research methods in both countries they aim to foster collaborations on the most important research topics of the day.
The RCUK can provide advice on cross-cultural issues in research collaboration and information on research funding opportunities. Information about their activities and staff contacts can be found on their China office page, along with newsletters detailing recent projects and forthcoming events.
