Management training and language/etiquette courses are part of a strategy to build concrete partnerships with Chinese universities.
The Confucius Institute has, with support from senior management of the University of Edinburgh, been able to offer training programmes varying from 1 to 3 weeks to senior management leaders of Chinese Universities. The programmes combine lectures, discussion sessions with staff and students, visits within UoE and social activities. It is also part of the overall China strategy to build sustainable partnerships with the leadership of first class Chinese Universities.
The Institute also offers an extensive programme of weekday evening and afternoon courses in Chinese language (Mandarin) as well as tailor-made courses for businesses and executives.
