John McIntyre Conference Centre
The John McIntyre Conference Centre is the University's premier conference space.
The centre provides facilities for both internal and external events, and also houses the main food hub for catered student residences.
Outstanding facilities
The £9 million redevelopment was completed in September 2009.
The centre has been extended and refurbished to provide improved catering and conference facilities.
The new centre includes:
- a stylish new restaurant with adjoining bar and lounge
- the Pentland conference suite, seating up to 350 people theatre style
- four breakout rooms accommodating up to 60 delegates each
- state-of-the-art audio visual equipment
- an outdoor terrace with stunning views across Arthur's Seat
The John McIntyre Conference Centre is administered by the University’s professional conference, catering and events teams at Edinburgh First.
