The Playfair Library is regarded as one of Scotland's finest public rooms.

Situated along the southern side of Old College, the Playfair Library has a barrel-vaulted ceiling and runs to more than 190 feet.
It was used as a working library from the 1820s until the 1960s, when the University's main collection was moved to George Square.
The Library is currently used to host dinners, receptions and prestigious lectures.
